Hello everyone! I hope your week was awesome. This week went by so fast. It’s like we blinked and it was over. We woke up this morning and had another little friend in our mouse trap. We have come to the conclusion that we should call the apartment office. We are so grateful for all of God’s creatures just not when they are in our apartment.
Travis Glenn had his baptismal interview this week and will be getting baptized on Saturday at 1:30pm. He is incredible and is in Jacob 7 in the Book of Mormon. You know what that means… he made it past Jacob 5! We asked him about it and he said ” He did not wanna give up on that tree” What an awesome impression! His nature is truly changing through reading the Book of Mormon daily. It has been such an honor and blessing to be apart of his journey onto the straight and narrow path.
We are working with a 17 year old girl named Alissa! She is in a part member family. She is so amazing. She is on date for November 8th and is so ready! She loves to read the Book of Mormon! Which is amazing. We are excited to have a church tour with her this week and get some fellowship for her at church.
I loved General Conference especially Elder Hales talk. He talked about “As we love the Savior, we will suffer less.”
That is a statement that I will be focusing on this week. This past week was so hard but as Elder Erying’s says, “even the hardest of times can be a blessing” and I know this week was a blessing. I know my Savior lives and loves us. He is carrying us and Heavenly Father desires to bless us. I know this gospel to be true and there is nothing else that brings me greater joy than sharing the gospel with Heavenly Father’s precious children. I would invite all of you to choose joy this weeks me focus on loving your Savior, Jesus Christ.
